Xiarihamu's first batch of nickel concentrate arrives in Jinchuan

On March 19, the first batch of 190 tons of nickel-copper mixed concentrate from Xiarihamu, Qinghai arrived in Jinchuan. Xiarihamu Nickel-Cobalt Mine is located in the southern margin of the Qaidam Basin, and is the largest nickel-cobalt sulfide deposit discovered in the world in the past 20 years, ranking second in reserve in China. It is jointly developed by SPIC Huanghe Hydropower Development Co., Ltd. and Jinchuan Group, and its nickel concentrate is exclusively sold by Jinchuan Group. Xiarihamu Nickel-Cobalt Mine dressing project successfully produced the first batch of concentrate on March 4, 2023, and shipped the first batch of concentrate from the mining area on March 12, delivering them to the nickel smelting production system of Jinchuan Group.
