Huangshi Xingang to add 2.25Mt steelmaking capacity through replacement program

In accordance with relevant guidelines and implementation measures issued by the State Council, the 2.25Mt steelmaking capacity replacement scheme drawn up by Huangshi Xingang Heavy Industry Technology Co., Ltd. will be made public by the Department of Economy and Information Technology of Hubei Province from March 21 to April 18, 2023.
The company plans to add steelmaking capacity of 2.25 million tonnes per year through a capacity replacement program. The newly-planned capacity is expected to come on line in October 2024.
