Shenzhen expects chip industry output value to exceed RMB120 billion by 2025 in Bao'an

On March 21, the government of Bao'an, Shenzhen issued an implementation plan on semiconductor and integrated circuit industrial cluster development from 2023 to 2025, which mentioned to construct a world-class industrial innovation cluster of automotive-grade and artificially intelligent wearable chips by 2025. The cluster will bring an output value of more than RMB120 billion (USD17.42 billion) and an added value of RMB28 billion (USD4.07 billion) or more, after developing more than five enterprises with an output value of RMB2 billion (USD290 million) and more than ten enterprises with an output value of more than RMB1 billion (USD145 million).
