Shuangliang Eco-energy held a commencing ceremony for its third phase of a monocrystalline silicon project in Baotou, Inner Mongolia on March 18.
The project's third phase, with a total investment of RMB10.5 billion (USD1 . 53 billion), will cover an area of 823mu and achieve an annual production capacity of 50 gigawatts of large monocrystalline silicon materials upon completion . Its annual output value is estimated to be about RMB26 . 08 billion (USD3 . 79 billion).
What's more, the construction of the project will contribute to the formation of an industrial chain layout composed of 100-gigawatt monocrystalline silicon materials, 80-gigawatt new supporting materials and 20-gigawatt photovoltaic modules.
