CHTI to invest RMB500 million to build Hami Vanadium-Titanium Company

CNNC Huayuan Titanium Dioxide Co., Ltd. (CHTI) announced on March 17 that the company intends to build and hold 100% of Hami Zhonghe Vanadium-Titanium Company with a registered capital of RMB500 million (USD73 million).
The to-be-built company will focus on concentrating, dressing and processing minerals. CHTI will develop production lines of titanium concentrate, iron ore concentrate and vanadium products on the basis of the subsidiary's surrounding resources, and expand potential production further after integrating its adjacent deposits and concentrating capacity, to create an extraordinary ecosystem of vanadium and titanium in Northwest China.
