Century Tsingshan to add 230ktpy HC ferrochrome production capacity

The environmental impact assessment for Century Tsingshan's 230,000tpy high carbon ferrochrome project has been recently made public. The project will be built in the Port-neighboring Industrial Park of Yangjiang Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone. It will construct two 48,000kVA sealed submerged arc furnaces and associated facilities. The project has a designed production capacity of 227,500tpy of HC ferrochrome.
