According to the data released by China Iron & Steel Association (CISA), major Chinese steel mills produced about 20.25 million tonnes of steel products in the first ten-day period of March 2023, and the average daily output recorded about 2.03 million tonnes during this period, down by 10.39% from the last ten-day period of February.
In the first ten-day period of March 2023, steel product inventory held by major Chinese steel mills totaled about 17.70 million tonnes, up by about 284,300 tonnes or 1.63% from the last ten-day period of February.
