China's National Mine Safety Administration announced on March 8 that it has launched a nationwide campaign to to enhance safety management in the mining sector as the country vows to resolutely curb major mine accidents.
The campaign, which will last until this December, targets all coal mines that are operating and under construction and rectification, metallic and non-metallic mines and tailings ponds.
