The construction of Xilaifeng 3,600,000tpy coal-based new material and downstream product project, the largest project invested by National Energy Group Coking Company in 2023, was launched recently.
Aiming to establish world's leading lighthouse factory in coking industry, the project plans to invest RMB6.404 billion (USD926.47 million) with a building period of 18 months. It could produce downstream high-end products of coal tar and methyl alcohol, including anode material, polyoxymethylene, BDO and others.
