GCL System Integration's 20GW TOPCon cell project (Phase I) starts construction

On February 22, an opening ceremony for the major projects in the first quarter in Wanzhi District, Wuhu, including GCL System Integration's 20-gigawatt high-efficiency TOPCon photovoltaic cell manufacturing project (Phase I), was held officially.
The project, with a total investment of RMB8 billion (USD1.16 billion), holds a total production capacity of 20 gigawatts which will be built by two phases. The first phase of 10 gigawatts will come into production by July 2023, and bring an annual output value of more than RMB10 billion (USD1.45 billion) when it reaches full capacity. The second phase of 10 gigawatts will be constructed with funds through a private placement.
