Recently, in order to ensure the safety of China's mineral resources and achieve green, intensive and intelligent development and utilization, Hunan plans to build a national technological innovation center for efficient development of strategic rare minerals.
The innovation center, led by the provincial government of Hunan and China Minmetals Corporation, will focus on the technical problems of the whole industrial chain of strategic rare mineral development "exploration - mining - beneficiation - smelting - high-end raw materials - resource recycling".
