400ktpy copper cathode project comes on stream in Huangshi, Hubei

On February 14, the 400,000tpy high-purity copper cathode clean production project developed by Yangxin Hongsheng Copper Industry Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Daye Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd., began commercial production in Huangshi, Hubei. The project adopts "double flash" copper smelting technology and will refine copper concentrate into high-grade blister copper which will be further refined to produce high-purity copper cathode widely used in 5G infrastructure and home appliance.
