China again extends tariff exemptions on some U.S. imported products

China will further extend tariff exemptions, which expires on February 15, for 124 goods imported from the United States until September 15, 2023, according to an announcement by the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council.
The extension was given to goods listed when China lifted tariffs imposed on U.S . goods as countermeasures against US Section 301.
The Customs Tariff Commission disclosed a list of the products, including rare earth minerals, kaolin clay, solar-grade polysilicon and materials used in semiconductor manufacturing. This is the tenth time China has announced tariff exemptions on imported U . S . goods.
