Hoshine Silicon to invest RMB20 billion in several silicon projects

On February 10, the reopening ceremony for major projects in Turpan in the first quarter of 2023 was held in the Shanshan silicon-based new material industrial base in the Shanshan industrial park, Shanshan County, marking that 167 major projects restarted officially with a total investment of RMB129.2 billion (USD18.91 billion).
Meanwhile, Hoshine Silicon Industry Co., Ltd. plans to invest RMB20 billion (USD2.93 billion) to develop a 200ktpy polysilicon project, a 400ktpy silicone project (Phase III), a 400ktpy industrial silicon project (Phase III), and other projects. Those projects would double the annual output value with tax of RMB2 billion (USD293 million) upon completion.
