LB Group aims to build 700ktpy cathode material capacity by 2025

On February 11, LB Group said on its interactive platform that, based on the current market prices, the revenue from its planned 1Mtpy LFP and 500ktpy graphite anode production capacity would exceed 100 billion yuan (14.68 billion US dollars). During the 14th Five-Year Plan Period (2021-2025), the company plans to add titanium sponge and titanium alloy production capacity of 80,000-100,000tpy and lithium battery cathode material capacity of 700,000tpy, apart from the already planned titanium dioxide capacity of more than 1.5Mtpy. The company aims to further increase cathode material capacity to 1.5Mtpy by 2030.
