Fuyang base, invested and constructed by China Three Gorges Renewables (Group) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Three Gorges Cooperation, mainly consists of a 650MW solar power plant, a 550MW wind farm and an associated 300MW/600MW energy storage facility . The first batch of power generators connected to the gird comes from the 250MW Gucheng floating power plant, which is the first phase of Fuyang base project.
When fully connected to the grid, Fuyang base project is expected to produce 1.9 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity per year, saving about 600,000 tons of standard coal equivalent and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 1 . 57 million tons.
