Guangdong's solar cell exports up by 42.5% in Jan-Nov

Customs statistics show that during the January-November period, Guangdong's foreign trade value recorded RMB7.56 trillion (USD1.08 trillion), a year-on-year increase of 1.3%, accounting for 19.7% of China's total foreign trade in the same period. To be specific, Guangdong's export value reached RMB4.86 trillion (USD0.70 trillion), up by 6.5% year on year, and its import value reached RMB2.7 trillion (USD0.39 trillion), down by 6.8% year on year.
In the first eleven months of 2022, Guangdong's exports of mechanical and electrical products increased by 2.6% than one year earlier, accounting for 66.5% of Guangdong's total export value. Its exports of solar cells, lithium-ion batteries and electrical vehicles went up by 42.5%, 45% and 3.6 times year on year, respectively.
