Ningxia to implement off-peak production for winter and spring 2022-2023

The Department of Industry and Information Technology of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region on October 21 issued a notice on implementing off-peak production for some major industries during winter and spring 2022-2023.
According to the notice, the staggered production will begin on November 1, 2022 and last till March 10, 2022. Industries that are required to carry out off-peak production include metallurgy, building materials and chemical engineering. Iron and steel companies are required to stagger production when safety conditions are met, and other industries such as ferroalloy, carbon, calcium carbide, and coking that fail to meet energy consumption, environmental protection and safety standards are required to stagger peak production based on their actual situation.
