The iron-making capacity replacement scheme (Phase I) proposed by Jilin Xinda Steel Co., Ltd. was recently released by the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jilin Province and it will be made public from October 11 to November 7, 2022.
According to the scheme, the company plans to build two blast furnaces, with capacity of 2.38Mtpy to replace three existing blast furnaces to be shut down, with combined capacity of 2.55Mtpy.
