On September 9, the commencement ceremony of the 3GW new energy base photovoltaic composite project in Tengger Desert, the largest desert photovoltaic base in China, was held in Zhongwei. The total installed capacity of the project is 3GW and the total investment is 15.25 billion yuan (220 million US dollars).
