JFE raises Cr stainless steel sheet prices for June

Japan-based JFE said it would raise the selling price of Cr stainless steel sheet by JPY20,000/t (USD150/t) from June because of higher cost resulted from rising prices of raw and auxiliary materials such as ferrochrome and other factors. The company raised the price of Cr stainless steel sheet by JPY10,000/t (USD75/t) and JPY30,000/t (USD225/t) in March and April respectively. Together with this rise, its price was lifted by JPY60,000/t (USD450/t) till now in 2022 with the cumulative increase reaching JPY125,000/t (USD937/t) since April 2021.
