On January 28, government of Xiaogan, Hubei and HXQC signed an investment agreement on Chuneng New Energy Li-battery Industrial Park Project.
According to the agreement, the project will be located in Xiaogan Linkong Economic Development Zone and will have a designed production capacity of 100GWh. The project will have a total investment of RMB45 billion (USD7.08 billion) and will be built in two phases, with phase one investment to be RMB9 billion (USD1.42 billion).
