Chengtun Mining to establish joint venture to build 40,000tpy nickel matte project in Indonesia

Chengtun Mining announced on December 2 that its wholly-owned subsidiary planned to establish Shengmai Nickel in Indonesia with Extension with the initial authorized registered capital of USD1 million. Hongsheng International holds a 70% stake in Shengmai Nickel, and Extension holds a 30% stake in Shengmai Nickel. Shengmai Nickel plans to build a 40,000tpy (nickel metal volume) nickel matte project in IWIP, with a total investment of RMB350 million.
