Inner Mongolia (Naiman) Jing'an Non-Ferrous Metals' ferronickel project puts first production line into operation

With Sinosteel MECC as the EPC contractor, the 1,200,000tpy ferronickel project of Inner Mongolia (Naiman) Jing'an Non-ferrous Metal Materials Co., Ltd. put its first production line into operation recently.
The project's 18 new RKEF ferronickel production lines, which were built by Sinosteel MECC, use fully-enclosed ferronickel submerged arc furnaces of 33,000kVA and the project totally owns 9 submerged arc furnace workshops. Based on the use of the RKEF process route, Sinosteel MECC made optimization in combination with its own technical advantages and thus greatly improved production efficiency and achieved energy saving and consumption reduction.
