Indonesia makes final anti-dumping ruling on zinc aluminum coated steel from China

On February 11, 2021, the Indonesian Anti-Dumping Commission issued an announcement, making a final anti-dumping ruling on zinc aluminum coated steel originating from China and Vietnam
On August 26, 2019, the Indonesian Anti-dumping Commission issued an announcement that in response to the application from an Indonesian producer, it decided to initiate an anti-dumping investigation on zinc aluminum coated steel imported from China and Vietnam.
. It ruled that the dumping margin of involved products from China was 3 . 07%~ 55 . 43%, and the dumping margin of involved products from Vietnam was 3 . 01%~ 49 . 20% . The dumping of the involved products caused substantial damage to Indonesian domestic industry . Therefore, it is recommended that the Indonesian Ministry of Finance should impose a 5-year anti-dumping tariff on the involved products (see below for details), and the measures will take effect from the tax levy announcement issued by the Ministry of Finance of Indonesia . The products involved in the case included zinc aluminum coated steel plates, coils and strips for iron, alloy or non-alloy steel with the width of no more than 600mm, the thickness of no more than 1 . 2mm and the content of carbon less than 0 . 6% . The Indonesian customs codes for involved products were 7210 . 61 . 11, 7212 . 50 . 23, 7212 . 50 . 24, 7212 . 50 . 29, 7225 . 99 . 90, 7226 . 99 . 19 and 7226 . 99 . 99 . The dumping investigation period for this case started from January 2018 and ended in December 2018, and the damage investigation periods were from January 2016 to December 2016, January 2017 to December 2017, and January 2018 to December 2018.
