Mexico makes final verdict of sunset review on anti-dumping of stainless steel sink from China

On June 7, 2021, the Mexican Ministry of Economic Affairs issued an announcement to make an affirmative final verdict on the sunset review of the anti-dumping of stainless steel sinks (weighing no more than 8 kg) imported from China, and decided to maintain the anti-dumping duty on the products involved, which will be valid for five years from May 9, 2020. The TIGIE tax number of the product involved is 7324.10.01. The announcement shall come into force the day after its promulgation.
On May 8, 2015, Mexico announced in the official gazette that it made a final anti-dumping judgment on the imported stainless steel sink (weighing no more than 8kg) originating in China, and imposed an anti-dumping duty of USD4.14/kg on the imported products from Taizhou Luqiao Jixiang Kitchenware Co., Ltd and USD5.40/kg on imports from other Chinese enterprises. On April 30, 2020, Mexico launched the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on Chinese stainless steel sink. The dumping investigation period is from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2019.
