Qianxinan holds special meeting for high-quality development of coal industry and stable supply of thermal coal

According to information from the website of the government of Qianxinan, Guizhou, Qianxinan held a special meeting for high-quality development of coal industry and stable supply of thermal coal on May 29.
The meeting emphasized two major tasks. First, Qianxinan will speed up the construction of major coal mines, launch special investigation and study, analyze problems and difficulties in coal mines, and take effective measures to guide the construction of coal mines to secure the completion of construction of five major coal mines and annual capacity increase of over two million tons. Second, Qianxinan will accelerate the process of licenses granting for construction of coal mines. It will try to win support from higher-level authorities and help coal mines to complete construction registration to secure that not less than 10 coal mines would start construction and the newly-added capacity would reach over three million tons annually.
The meeting asked relevant enterprises and departments to secure coal supply. Relevant departments should know the flow of coal that passes Qianxinan, ensure that all of the coal produced in Qianxinan will be supplied to coal consumers here, and encourage these consumers to purchase high-quality coal from other cities and provinces. Qianxinan will guarantee the normal production and operation of coal enterprises and an average daily supply of thermal coal of not less than 30,000t.
