BEIJING (Asian Metal) 18 May 21 - After solving waste water treatment problems, Shandong Doguide Group plans to increase their titanium dioxide output
"As the waste water treatment problem was solved, we resumed normal production since early this month and the output would reach around 14,000t in May, up by 5,000t from April," said a source from the company. They quote RMB21,500/t (USD3,333/t) EXW for rutile titanium dioxide 93%min now, unchanged from early last week.
Based on an annual production capacity of 220,000t, the company expects to produce around 14,000t in May, up by 56% MoM. The total production volume in 2020 reached around 152,000t and the total volume so far in 2021 would reach about 46,000t.
Current mainstream prices of Chinese rutile titanium dioxide 93%min hover at RMB20,000-20,500/t (USD3,101-3,178/t) EXW D/A 180 days, the same as early last week.
