BYD to spin off BYD Semiconductor for listing on Growth Enterprise Market

BYD announced that it plans to spin off its controlled subsidiary BYD Semiconductor to make it get listed on the Growth Enterprise Market of Shenzhen Stock Exchange. This separation will not lead to any changes in BYD's share structure and BYD will continue to keep controlling right over BYD Semiconductor. After getting listed, BYD Semiconductor will continue to focus on research, production and selling of power semiconductor, intelligent controlling IC, intelligent sensor and opto-semiconductor. In the future, BYD Semiconductor will center on auto-grade semiconductor and will try to advance semiconductor application in industrial, household appliance, new energy and consumer electronics industries, so as to make itself grow into an efficient, intelligent and integrated new-type semiconductor supplier.
