Malaysia makes anti-dumping positive final decision on cold rolled stainless steel in coils, sheets or any other form from Indonesia and Vietnam

On 26 April, 2021, Ministry of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia announced the anti-dumping positive final decision on cold rolled stainless steel in coils, sheets or any other form originating in or importing from Indonesia and Vietnam. The anti-dumping duties for involved products from Indonesia are 8.80-34.82% and those for involved products from Vietnam are 7.81-23.84%, taking effect from 24 April 2021 and expiring on 23 April, 2026, with a valid period of five years.
On 28 July, 2020, Ministry of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia decided to launch the anti-dumping investigation on cold rolled stainless steel in coils, sheets or any other form originating in or importing from Indonesia and Vietnam based on the application submitted by a Malaysian enterprise on 30 June, 2019.
