    Coal mine flood accident happens in Xinjiang

    It was reported that Fengyuan coal mine, located in Queergou town, Hutubi county, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, suffered a sudden flood accident at around 18:10 of 10 April during the technological transformation process, resulting in underground outage and communication disruption.

    By now, 8 workers of 29 were rescued while the rest 21 were trapped. Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region deployed related departments as well as professional rescue teams and equipment to carry out rescue work with all their strength.
