On 26 March, Nanjing Iron and Steel released its 2020 annual report. In the reporting period, the company sold about 10.19 million tons of steel, up by 259,000 tons year on year.
In the reporting period, the company produced about 10.42 million tons of pig iron, 11.58 million tons of crude steel and 10.21 million tons of steel, up by 5.20%, 5.58% and 2.87% respectively compared to the same period of the previous year. The company recorded an output of over 10 million tons of steel for the first time.
