Jinko Solar and Tongwei to jointly built high-purity crystalline silicon and silicon wafer projects

Jinko Solar intends to sign a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Tongwei Group to jointly invest in high-purity crystalline silicon project with an annual output of 45,000t and silicon wafer project with an annual output of 15 GW, as well as carry out more extensive industrial chain cooperation.
According to the agreement, Jinko Solar will hold 35% shares of Tongwei's high-purity crystalline silicon project with an annual output of 45,000t, and Tongwei will hold 30% shares of Jinko Solar's silicon wafer project with an annual output of 15 GW. At the same time, Jinko Solar will also supply about 6.5 GW of silicon wafers to Tongwei in the coming three years, on the basis of continuing to implement the previously signed long-term purchase agreement of 93,000t of silicon materials.
According to the agreement, Jinko Solar will hold 35% shares of Tongwei's high-purity crystalline silicon project with an annual output of 45,000t, and Tongwei will hold 30% shares of Jinko Solar's silicon wafer project with an annual output of 15 GW. At the same time, Jinko Solar will also supply about 6.5 GW of silicon wafers to Tongwei in the coming three years, on the basis of continuing to implement the previously signed long-term purchase agreement of 93,000t of silicon materials.
