On December 17, 2020, the Mexican Ministry of Economy issued an announcement in the official gazette that, at the request of Mexican companies, it decided to initiate the first anti-dumping sunset review case investigation on steel and zinc alloy handles imported from China. During the investigation of the case, the anti-dumping measures determined in the final ruling of the original trial continued to be effective. The dumping investigation period in this case is from October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020, and the damage investigation period is from October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2020. The TIGIE tax numbers of the products involved are 8302.42.99 and 8302.49.99.
On August 12, 2014, Mexico initiated an anti-dumping investigation against steel and zinc alloy handles imported from China. On December 23, 2015, Mexico made a final anti-dumping ruling on the involved products imported from China and decided to impose an anti-dumping duty of USD10.21/kg on the products involved.
