JCC Guoxing's copper cathode energy conservation and emission reduction project starts construction

On December 18, JCC Guoxing (Yantai) Copper Co., Ltd. held the groundbreaking ceremony for its new 180,000tpy copper cathode energy conservation and emission reduction project at Yantai Economic and Technological Development Area.
The project is part of the initiative launched by Yantai Guorun Copper which calls for industry to retreat from the urban area and shift to industry zones. The project will adopt the world-leading copper smelting technology and produce copper cathode, sulfuric acid, iron concentrate, etc. The project is scheduled to begin production in 2022, and upon reaching full capacity, it would realize annual sales revenue of more than RMB15 billion (USD2.3 billion), along with taxes and profits of over RMB400 million (USD61.08 million).
