On December 5, the inauguration ceremony of China Baowu Steel Group Central South Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. and the signing ceremony of the cooperation framework agreement between Guangzhou Municipal People's Government and China Baowu Steel were held in Guangzhou.
China Baowu Steel Group Central South Iron & Steel was jointly funded and established by China Baowu Steel and Guangdong Materials Group Corporation, and as a operation platform for steel assets in central south China region, will implement the centralized and unified management for fund, purchase, sales, research and development, investment and financing of its steel bases, forming a gathering effect of capital flow, trade flow, information flow, high-tech, high-end talent and other aspects.
According to the cooperation framework agreement signed between Guangzhou Municipal Government and China Baowu Steel, Guangzhou Municipal Government supports China Baowu Steel to build China Baowu Steel Group's Central South Iron & Steel Headquarters in Haizhu, Guangzhou, and provides policy support for the company's operation development. China Baowu Steel focuses on the construction of the upstream and downstream ecosystems of the steel industry chain and supply chain, drives more business flows and capital flows into Guangzhou, and setting China Baowu Steel Group Central South Iron & Steel as the platform, gradually promotes the integration of the related iron and steel industry in Guangdong and central south China region, and facilitates the development of Guangzhou headquarters economy.
