Mexico makes third sunset review of anti-dumping on steel nails from China

On December 3, 2020, the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Mexico issued a notice in the official gazette, making the final judgment of the third sunset review of anti-dumping on steel nails originating in China, and decided to cancel the anti-dumping duty of USD0.54/kg on the products involved in the case from China, which will take effect from the next day of the announcement. The TIGIE tax number of the product involved was 7317.00.99.
On September 29, 2004, Mexico announced in the official gazette that it had made an affirmative final anti-dumping determination on steel nails originating in China and decided to impose an anti-dumping duty of USD0.50/kg on the products involved. On May 16, 2011, Mexico made the first sunset review final determination of anti-dumping on steel nails originating in China, and decided to change the anti-dumping duty from USD0.50/kg to USD0.54/kg, with a validity period of five years. On November 10, 2015, Mexico made the final determination of the second sunset review of the anti-dumping case, maintaining the anti-dumping duty, which is valid for five years. On November 19, 2019, Mexico launched the third sunset review investigation on anti-dumping of steel nails originating in China. The dumping investigation period of the case is from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019, and the injury investigation period is from July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2019.
