Befesa constructs secondary aluminum and aluminum salt residue projects in Changge

On November 19, Befesa (China) Investment Co., Ltd. signed a contract for secondary aluminum project and aluminum salt residue recycling project, which settled in Xuchang.
Befesa (China) plans to invest 1.5 billion yuan (228 million US dollars) in Changge to build a secondary aluminum project with an annual output of 300,000t and an aluminum salt residue recycling project with an annual output of 110,000t, mainly to build a salt residue recycling plant and a secondary aluminum plant. After the completion of the projects, the waste can be completely recycled and reused without any secondary waste, which completely solves the residual problem of traditional aluminum residue and aluminum ash treatment. In addition, the salt residue recycling plant can simultaneously dispose of waste slot liners produced in the primary aluminum industry. This is also the first aluminum dust treatment project planned to be implemented in China by the group.
