Russia's largest steel producer NLMK expects steel demand in the country to fall by 6%-7% in 2020 before increasing by 4%-5% in 2021, its vice president Ilya Gushchin said on Monday.
Demand for steel in Russia, which has come under pressure from the COVID-19 pandemic, has fallen by 6.7% in the first nine months of the year, the company said.
