On September 26th, the "extrusion and casting structure parts project" of Shandong Honghe Lightweight Technology Co., Ltd., which is the key project at Weiqiao Lightweight Base, achieved trial production smoothly.
The overall planned investment of the project is RMB1,700 billion (USD249 billion), and the annual production capacity targets at 17 million pieces of liquid die forging aluminum alloy structure parts. According to the implementation plan of the project, the first-phase project is invested with RMB580 million (USD85 million) and covers an area of 22,800 square meters, including 25 sets of extrusion and casting facilities with an annual production capacity of 3.8 million pieces of precision aluminum alloy structure parts.
