Shandong Hesheng Copper Co., Ltd. plans to put its high-performance electronic copper foil phase I project into trial operation around mid-July.
"We plan to build a copper foil project with an annual production capacity of 20,000t. The phase I project has a capacity of 5,000tpy and is scheduled to commence pilot production on July 16, followed by the groundbreaking ceremony for the phase II project on the same day. Construction of the first stage of 10,000tpy is expected to be completed by the end of 2021, and that for the second stage of 10,000tpy is expected to be done by late 2022," said Guo Wenping, Deputy General Manager of the company.
With total investment of RMB700 million (USD97.90 million), the project covers an area of 240mu. The phase I project would add a new production line with capacity of 5,000tpy and the total investment is estimated at RMB400 million (USD55.94 million), of which RMB120 million (USD16.78 million) is planned for 2020.
