Zhang Tianren, the Deputy to the National People's Congress and Chairman of Tianneng Group, suggested that the relevant departments of the state should adjust and optimize a series of financial and tax policies for the lead-acid battery industry: the relevant departments should reassess the implementation effect of consumption tax, cancel the tax items of lead-acid battery, or give the consumption tax return to the production enterprises that actively fulfill the producer responsibility extension system and "buy one after selling the former " according to the recovery amount/recovery rate, and increase financial and tax support for renewable smelting enterprises by recovering the return proportion of value-added tax of lead-acid battery renewable enterprises from 30% to 50%.
