Guangdong to build green steel and nonferrous metals industry clusters

The Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province on May 9 released the 2021-2025 action plan to build a batch of large-scale advanced materials industry cluster with core competitiveness.
Planned industry clusters include building materials and aluminum alloy processed materials industry cluster with main business income of over RMB150 billion (USD21.1 billion) in Zhaoqing, building materials and nonferrous metals industry cluster with main business income of over RMB120 billion (USD16.9 billion) in Qingyuan, green steel and nonferrous metals industry cluster with main business income of over RMB100 billion (USD14.1 billion) in Shaoguan, green steel and high-performance resin industry cluster with main business income of over RMB100 billion (USD14.1 billion) in Zhanjiang, and stone materials and high-quality steel industry cluster with main business income of over RMB100 billion (USD14.1 billion) in Yunfu.
