On the morning of April 15, Yingtan High-tech District government and Yueqing Jiuyao Metal Trading Co., Ltd. held the signing ceremony for the company's 150,000tpy high precision copper and copper alloy plate and strip project.
With total investment estimated at RMB5 billion (USD706 million), the project will be built in two phases and produce 1,200mm wide copper plate and strip, a product which is currently being produced by only two companies in China. Additionally, there are no companies in eastern and southern China capable of producing this product.
