Changsha Customs supports aluminum powder enterprises to export heating bag of self-heating food

Recently, Xiangxi Customs under Changsha Customs released a batch of heating bags for self-heating food which were produced by Hunan Jinhao New Material Technology Co., Ltd. The goods totalled 480 barrels and 600,000 packages, and it is the first time for Hunan province to export such products.
The heating bag is the heat source of all kinds of fast hot food, portable small hot pot and other self-heating food; the main ingredient is aluminum powder. Aluminum powder is the traditional export product of Xiangxi. In 2019, Xiangxi exported 2,792 tons of aluminum powder with a value of $59.778 million.
Traditionally, exported aluminum powder are mainly used in photovoltaic, automotive coatings and other industries, but due to the decline in global demand of related industries, exports of the material are under pressure. According to the enterprise, the profit margin of the heat bag production is 10%-15% higher than the traditional aluminum powder, and as an emerging product, it has a broad market space.
