Shanghai Wuxing Copper says construction starts for copper plate and strip project in Anhui

Shanghai Wuxing Copper Co.,Ltd. announced that its Anhui Chizhou New Material High Precision Copper Plate and Strip project, with an annual production capacity of 200,000t, started construction on March 20, 2020, and the construction for workshop is scheduled to be completed within this year.
The project is located in Chizhou High-Tech Zone, with a planned area of 260mu and total investment of RMB1.635 billion (USD230 million). Of which, RMB552 million (USD77.85 million) will be invested for the phase one, including RMB400 million (USD56.38 million) for construction, and RMB1.083 billion (USD153 million) will be invested for the phase two, including RMB734 million (USD104 million) for construction. The project mainly produces high-precision, extra-long and large roll of heavy copper strip, copper strip for electronic frame, transformer and cable, etc. Upon reaching target capacity, the project is able to produce 200,000tpy of high precision copper plate and strip, with annual production value of RMB5 billion (USD705 million) and tax revenue of RMB170 million (USD23.97 million).
