Linyi Iron and Steel Special Steel starts construction of high-quality special steel project

On 14 March, the groundbreaking ceremony for 20 projects in Junan country and Lingang district of Linyi was held, including the 2.7-million-ton-per-annum high-quality special steel project of Linyi Iron and Steel Investment Group Special Steel Co., Ltd.
With an investment of RMB10.6 billion (USD1.52 billion) and an annual production capacity of 2.7 million tons of high-quality special steel, the project will be a domestically and globally leading high-quality special steel manufacturing base with an annual production value of RMB13.5 billion (USD1.93 billion) and an annual profit tax of RMB1.5 billion (USD0.21 billion) after going into operation.
