Roof accident happens in Yunnan Luoping Shugentian coal mine

According to the county government of Luoping, Qujing, Yunnan, a roof accident happened in Shugentian coal mine of Qujing Shizong Hengjin Trading Co., Ltd. and left five dead. By now, the relief work has come to an end and investigation on causes and aftermath are under way.
Materials showed that Shugentian coal mine was built in 2003 and put into production in 2006 with a design annual production scale of 90,000 tons and an approved annual production capacity of 90,000 tons. Based on No.6 Yunnan coal mine rectification and review document of 2005, Shugentian coal mine expanded its production capacity to 210,000 tons per annum by consolidating, restructuring and upgrading, with a mine life of 12.3 years.
