The heavy pollution weather emergency command department of Handan announced on February 25 that, after consultation among Eco-Environmental Emergency and Heavy Pollution Weather Early Warning Center of Hebei, China National Environmental Monitoring Station and Environment and Meteorology Center of Hebei, it is predicted that Handan might experience severe pollution weather from February 27. Thus, the department decided to launch heavy pollution weather emergency response II at 14:00 on February 26. Under the premise of ensuring safety and epidemic prevention and control, the entire city should strictly implement various emergency emission reduction measures based on the requirements of the heavy pollution weather emergency plan of Handan.
