On December 14, Bai Yongqiang, the Deputy Secretary of the Party committee and President of Western Mining Group, made a production and operation report, comprehensively summarized the production and operation work in 2019, and determined the business targets of the Group in 2020.
Its production and business targets for 2020 are as follows:
Its mines will mine 14.118 million tons and process 13.706 million tons of ore to produce 58,000 metal tons of copper, 64,000 metal tons of lead, 164,000 metal tons of zinc, 2,565 metal tons of nickel, 1.69 million tons of iron ore fines, 550,000t of pellet and 160,000t of sulfur concentrate;
Smelters will produce 154,000t of copper cathode, 100,000t of lead ingot 99.994%min, 108,000t of crude lead, 107,000t of zinc ingot, 556,000t of sulfuric acid;
Salt lake chemical and other projects will produce 154,000t of high-purity magnesium hydroxide, 80,000t of high-purity magnesium oxide, 33,000t of fused magnesia and 30,000t of sintered magnesia.
